In the heart of Jacksonville’s prestigious Epping Forest, this bathroom is the epitome of sanctuary. My personal adaptation of this space is an ode to balance, tranquility, and the timeless beauty of natural materials.

With every stone-clad wall, we evoke the whisper of ancient earth, its raw textures a tactile connection to the natural world. The soft cascade of sunlight through clerestory windows and the wood ceiling breathes life into the space, offering a glimpse of the sky beyond, where the outdoors and indoors dance in harmony.

As if kissed by the spirit of Japan, this midcentury design draws from Eastern influences, blending delicate woven wall art and a bamboo stool with the elegance of a warm, slatted wooden vanity. The earthy hues ground the space, allowing the blue stone walls to shine. All the while, lush vines and carefully placed potted plants add a flourish of vitality—softening hard edges, and enriching the room with life’s most delicate touches.
