I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the founder of Ellara, a design studio built on a deep passion for creating thoughtful, sustainable spaces. Although I officially launched Ellara in 2024, my journey with design has been a lifelong pursuit. Growing up surrounded by music, the arts, carpentry, and real estate, I developed an early appreciation for the balance between structure and creativity. This foundation, combined with eight years of experience in interior design, visual merchandising, environmental psychology, and leadership, has shaped my holistic approach to design.
At Ellara, I offer a comprehensive suite of design services, from conceptual planning and digital renderings to hands-on, in-person transformations. Whether it's bringing a vision to life through detailed CAD layouts or curating every element in a physical space, I approach each project with care, intent, and a commitment to excellence.
My focus on sustainability is at the core of my practice—I am always learning and evolving to offer eco-friendly, responsible choices that make a lasting impact. My ultimate goal is to achieve LEED accreditation, a testament to my dedication to sustainable design, and to expand my work in this crucial area.
As a young Black designer, I bring a fresh perspective and deep cultural pride to my work. I draw inspiration from the transformative power of design and its ability to enhance everyday life. For me, design is more than aesthetics—it's about creating spaces that bring joy, comfort, and connection.
With Ellara, my goal is simple: to make your design dreams a reality while crafting environments that are as thoughtful and unique as the people who live in them.
